Beach Day, part 2. 

Field Trip.


Paul had a day off...somewhat. It was damp out and though every urge pointed towards staying inside in front of the tv, we decided to go ahead with our plan of going to the beach. It was the first time in a while and turned out to be the first time I saw a starfish in the wild. I was excited.

I love Vancouver.

Just another party at our house for the lovely Heather Mcdonald's birthday.

It's taken me a while to go through these but I found some inspiration playing around in Lightroom again. Personally, I like seeing film grain on photos, especially if they're in black and white and aren't really so perfect. I think it really enhances the candidness behind each shot.
(I know this can seem like a huge cop out to many professional photographers who believe monotone photography is an easy way to hide poor focus/ quality etc, but it's something I like to play about with.)
