"England is my country, Vancouver is my home town." I had to go home for a while, the first time in over a year. It was weird for me, I felt like I was in a dream and that I was in on this secret, a secret life, that no one else could see. Seeing my family was great, but I missed home.

Cairo (now "Boss") are a Vancouver based band that recorded at Mushroom Studios. I'm finding myself back at this place a lot more than I thought I'd be.

I've had the chance to shoot many great shows, by far my favourite was standing in a crowd as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club stood on stage in front of me.

Montreal.


My love of a band and their music took me to Montreal.

France.

Every year I make the journey to a region of France called La Charente. My aunt and uncle and their 18 dogs live on a stretch of 5 acres; she rescues abandoned animals and he watches cricket. The days are filled with a burning sun and puppy kisses and long walks across open fields. It's beauty.
